For the Crust:
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 package (4 oz) sweet chocolate, melted
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Prepare the cake mix as per the package instructions and pour into pans.
- For the cheesecake center, mix cream cheese, sugar, and melted chocolate until smooth. Pour over one of the cake layers.
- Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Allow to cool completely, then layer the cheesecake-topped cake with the second cake layer.
- Frost with a chocolate frosting of your choice and serve chilled.
