Description

A decadent layered cake with a rich chocolate flavor and a creamy cheesecake surprise in the middle.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 package (4 oz) sweet chocolate, melted

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Prepare the cake mix as per the package instructions and pour into pans.
  3. For the cheesecake center, mix cream cheese, sugar, and melted chocolate until smooth. Pour over one of the cake layers.
  4. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Allow to cool completely, then layer the cheesecake-topped cake with the second cake layer.
  5. Frost with a chocolate frosting of your choice and serve chilled.

Notes
