Description

A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring spicy prawns with garlic and chili.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g spaghetti
  • 300g raw prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 red chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Handful of fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped chilies, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the prawns to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
  4. Drain the spaghetti and add it to the pan with the prawns. Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes to combine flavors.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra spice, increase the amount of chili flakes. Pair with a crisp white wine.
